An episode Nasa has long wanted to do finally comes to pass and with great timing. Public Enemy recently dropped a new album titled, "Most of My Heroes Still Don't Appear on No Stamp", so what better time to really take a look at Public Enemy's Post-Def Jam career? Too many people aren't aware that Public Enemy has continued to build on their already strong discography since the split with Def Jam in the late 90s. It's actually been a dozen terrific years and at least 7 original albums since that time. Public Enemy has endured the lack of major label backing, the attack of the so called critics and much more to be one of the top touring acts in hip-hop today. Nasa thought it was time to "Educate the Suckas". He put together the following tracklist, complete with the album each track is from, for a semi Post-Def Jam "Best Of". Support Public Enemy and Chuck D for continuing to go strong. Salute PE always! 1 - Son of A Bush (Revolverlution) 2 - Hoover Music (Most of My Heroes Still Don't Appear On No Stamp) http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/most-my-heroes-still-dont/id543810786 3 - Harder Than You Think (How You Sell Soul to a Soulless People that Sold Their Soul?) http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/how-you-sell-soul-to-soulless/id260786494 4 - Do You Wanna Go Our Way? Nasa reacts to an article on the Daily Swarm website featuring a writer from SPIN Magazine. They discussed the "Fall" of Left Field rap music during the period of 2004-2008. He talks about his experience going through that era and places blame on the writers and radio stations themselves, not the people. This episode is a big "fuck you" to all the sleepers during that period and all the so called writers that are crawling back. One long set this time, it's all prog, all the time and is made up of artists that have been around for a decade, came up during that dark period and some new faces.
